Daily NEWS from the camp

Monday, July 2^nd, 2007

After a good bus ride the boys and girls arrived at the Ferdinand Nagel hut at 11.30. They moved in and had fantastic wraps for lunch. Later on they played a few getting-to-know-each other-games and did the compass game in the woods.

At the moment the kids are preparing for camp show this evening and are waiting for room control. Then they will make jam and their own pizza! They will also do a night walk if the weather permits it.

Until 4 p.m. it was nice and sunny with 24°C. Now at 5 p.m. it's cloudy at 17°C. It looks like rain!

Tuesday, July 3^rd, 2007

Yesterday the kids went for a short night walk (they were all very tired and it was cold).

This morning breakfast was at 7.20- everybody was starving! The children wrote their diary and played darts and the balloon game. Then they built shelters in the wood!

After lunch (hamburgers and cheeseburgers) the boys and girls played capture the flag and played the rope jumping game.

Afterwards they tie dyed their T-shirts. Room control was at 6 p.m. and then they had excellent spaghetti for dinner.

Tonight the kids will still do the camp show and play the flashlight game in the woods.

The weather: Sunny and cloudy the whole day with temperatures between 15°C and 18°C.

Everybody is well and is having a great time!!!

Wednesday, July 4^th, 2007

This morning the campers had French toast for breakfast before they wrote their diary. Then they madr femo armbands and played games (due to the weather in-doors).

The boys and girls had hot dogs for lunch and then they walked down to the bus to take them to the swimming pool in Neunkirchen. Unfortunately they couldn't swim out-doors.

This evening they will have buffet with lots of good food for dinner. Then there will be a song contest, games and a film night.

The weather: rain, 10°C

Thursday, July 5^th, 2007

The Goblin game yesterday was cancelled due to bad weather.

This morning the boys and girls had Irish breakfast: beans on toast! The weather in the morning: sunny and rain with 9°C. They could still do some activities outside: the tongue twister game, the darts game, English games and the shelter competition. The kids got points for arcitectural design, stability and waterproofness.

After this hard work they had stew for lunch and played bingo.

Tonight the will have a BBQ (Danny bbqing oputside and the kids eating inside).

Afterwards there will be a disco and fireworks if the weather permits it.

Just to remind you: the boys and girls will be in Bad Vöslau at Bellaflora tomorrow at 6 p.m.

Friday, July 6^th, 2007

Yesterday the campers had a great evening shooting fireworks and dancing!!

So they had pancake breakfast late this morning - at 9 a.m.. Then they wrote their diary and played the Scottish games outside. Afterwards they had sandwiches for lunch.

At the moment they are packing up and will be going to the bus at 4 p.m.

The weather: sunny and cloudy, this morning 9°C and now at 5 p.m. 15°C
